{"id":154,"date":"2020-06-24T14:33:16","date_gmt":"2020-06-24T12:33:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/vortexafternoon.com\/?p=154"},"modified":"2020-06-26T18:48:59","modified_gmt":"2020-06-26T16:48:59","slug":"uncut","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/vortexafternoon.com\/?p=154","title":{"rendered":"UNCUT"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>If you have been to my <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/channel\/UCRMoW2RzeLrE8Yz51uDDJHQ\">YouTube Channel<\/a> , you might&#8217;ve noticed a playlist, called <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=d80F4kxNigc&amp;list=PLqovpeNlPtOWWIRrMAoZ9cSzLQpz72k_t\">UNCUT | One Take Unedited Jams<\/a>, which in the past was mainly cell phone footage of me playing by the fire, or just noodling away. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed-youtube wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"UNCUT |  Vortex Afternoon - In the Kingdom (Live to Camera)\" width=\"920\" height=\"518\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/6IDX_GSKCVc?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>I have since started to &#8220;up&#8221; the production value on my channel, and have started doing &#8220;proper recordings&#8221; of these jams and songs. The recording quality is at such a point that I decided to put out an ongoing and growing album on my <a href=\"https:\/\/vortexafternoon.bandcamp.com\/album\/uncut\">Bandcamp<\/a> page, for free \/ pay-what-you-want. This &#8220;album&#8221; will grow as I release new videos and the audio gets uploaded to Bandcamp. It is not so much an &#8220;album&#8221;, I suppose, as a Bandcamp playlist. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I still wish to maintain a relaxed informal feel, but with good production and a value add to the world out there. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is somewhat reminiscent to my <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jamendo.com\/album\/88684\/live-to-a-mic\">Danie Nel &#8211; &#8220;Live to a Mic&#8221;<\/a> album from 2010, which you can get on Jamendo. This song is also on there! Compare to see if I got any better!
