I don’t write in Afrikaans that often, but when I do, the style is completely different from Vortex Afternoon. I thus release all my Afrikaans material simply under my own name.

This song was born at the very fire place I recorded the video at, on a day that wasn’t easy, and I was feeling pretty foul. It was cathartic to let it all out and put a melody to the melancholy!
