So it’s been a while since I’ve released a new track, but on 19 February 2021 I was able to set “Who I Am” free into the world.

The song, like most of my songs these days, has been in writing and production for decades. By my calculations I wrote the chorus around 1999, but couldn’t quite get the song to my liking till last year when I started rewriting the verses, well basically everything except the chorus. The result is an anthemic ballad, slightly departed from the usual Vortex Afternoon stompers.

The music video was once again a single man effort!
